ANDAMAN ISLANDS

During a visit to the Andaman Islands, in India full of trekking adventures, the tourists are most excited to visit the volcanic islands.
If the aquamarine waters around the sunny islands wove a magical spell, the news that one tourist can see also see volcanoes is electrifying.
Is it dangerous?
But please be assured that the volcanoes the tourists see are bubbling away silently and are unlikely to explode immediately.
The journey to the volcanoes is breathtaking.
The journey starts from Port Blair, the capital city , through Jarwa tribal reserves, then the tourists are transferred to a ferry which carries across crystal blue waterways flowing between a host of thickly forested islands. The flora and fauna is yet another pleasant change for the fatigued minds.
Finally the tourists shall have to climb onto a very small boat, which takes through dense mangroves beyond the Baratang islands.
But the tourists are not alone; accompanying is nature at her luscious best, sporting an air of mystery and a coat of emerald green.
The final drive to the volcano shall take the tourists through dusty patches, but do not get too close.
The Andaman Islands is of volcanic origin, dating back millions of years. Below the feet the earth is churning away.
When it shall explode it will not stop for days.
Right the crater is rather silent, and the bubbling is of a minor proportion.
It is not angry lave, fire or smoke which the tourists expect.
But it is volcano right now with the green nature.
